Lucas GarRitson

Lucas Garritson is an Immigration Attorney licensed to practice law in Texas. Lucas is a partner at Burgos & Garritson Law with his wife, Jacqueline Burgos-Garritson, Esq., where he handles all types of family and employment-based immigration matters. In 2003 Lucas Garritson earned his bachelors of business administration degree from Texas Tech University.  Shortly after graduation, he worked for the third-largest auction house in the world where he managed the photography and imaging department.

Lucas then attended Oklahoma City University School of Law where he graduated and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2010.  During law school, he was a co-founder of the Immigration Law Society at OCU and was a volunteer at Catholic Charities Immigration office in Oklahoma City.  He is a successful litigator having won his first trial by jury shortly after graduating from law school. Lucas has significant experience handling complex immigration matters as well as removal cases before the Executive Office of Immigration Review (Immigration Court). Lucas currently focuses on immigration law, corporate law, business strategy and corporate compliance. Lucas is contributing member of American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

Jacqueline Burgos-Garritson

Jacqueline Burgos-Garritson

Jacqueline Burgos-Garritson is a partner at Burgos & Garritson Law. She specializes in immigration and criminal law both at the federal and state levels. With over 10 years of litigation experience, Jacqueline Burgos-Garritson strives to obtain positive outcomes for all of her clients. A native of San Juan Puerto Rico, she is fluent in both the English and Spanish languages and is able to communicate her legal knowledge clearly and effectively with multicultural clients.

In 2002, Ms. Burgos-Garritson earned her Bachelors degree from Texas Tech University in Political Science. She then attended Oklahoma City University for her law degree and graduated in 2008. During her law school career, Ms. Burgos-Garritson interned with the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office and the Oklahoma County District Attorneys Office obtaining valuable experience in criminal litigation and appellate work. After graduation, Ms. Burgos-Garrison opened a solo practice in Oklahoma City and named it The Law Office of Jacqueline Burgos-Garritson. There she handled cases in the areas of family law, criminal law, bankruptcy law, and immigration law. She served hundreds of clients obtaining favorable outcomes in all areas of law. Ms. Burgos- Garritson then joined her husband, Lucas Garritson, and formed Burgos&Garritson law which is located in Richardson, Texas.

Ms. Burgos-Garritson has handled cases before the Executive Office of Immigration Review, Board of Immigration Appeals, USCIS, Oklahoma State Courts, Texas State Courts, the Norther District of Texas, the Western District of Oklahoma, US Bankruptcy Courts, and the Supreme Court of Oklahoma.
