Immigration Bond Hearing

When a person is detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) the detainee can be granted bond to be released from custody.  In some cases, ICE will deny bond and a motion for bond redetermination must be made in front of an immigration judge.  Some crimes require mandatory detention where being released from custody is not an option, such as being charged or convicted of a drug crime.
